The latest briefing from the National Weather Service has pushed our tide concerns further on Sunday and Monday. At tonight’s high tide they are calling for minor flooding as is Tomorrow mornings High Tide. As every high tide passes by with the NE Winds blowing while the storm is off the coast the tides will be compounding. Today’s low tide was about a foot higher than yesterday thus the next high tide will be that much higher. Today’s tide was 5.01 feet with no flooding. The tides will progressive get higher with the tides of Concern being the Sunday Evening High Tide with moderate flooding of 7.5 to 8.5 feet. Monday Morning they are calling for Moderate to Major flooding at 8.5 to 9.0 feet, and now they are continuing the flooding into Monday night projecting moderate flooding at 7.5 to 8.5 feet. The rain has been reduced to 1 to 3 inches Sunday into Monday. This all subject to change and is based on the National Hurricane Centers projected route of the storm.
