(01/03/18) The NWS 5PM update was issued about an hour ago. Looking at it there are some changes to the snow predictions which are now 4 to 10 inches and minor coastal flooding at the time of Thursday Mornings 9::26 AM High tide. Minor coastal flooding for us puts some water in the gutters on some areas of Delaware Avenue. With the high winds that we are used too is combined with snow we will have blizzard conditions. This afternoon the temperatures were above freezing so depending on how fast it drops we may get a little bit of mix precipitation in the beginning. The briefing is calling for the snow to start around 7PM this evening. The amount of snow we will ultimately get from this Coastal storm depending on the storm track which can change. A couple of notes – the North Wildwood tide gauge is currently frozen so you won’t be able to get a proper reading.  However the rest of the weather station is running so if you want to check wind speed, temperature and chill factor you can do so.
