01/30/18 – The water by the numbers. This mornings 6:36am High Tide crested at 7:39AM at the height of 6.94 feet which brought flooding to Delaware Avenue and westward with water along the curbs on New York. The tides are being influence by the Blue Moon Full Moon which takes place on Thursday. We need to keep an eye on the next couple of high tides – Tonight 7:06PM, Wednesday 7:29AM and 7:59PM, and Thursday 8:20AM and 8:50PM. The main tides to watch are the morning tides which are predicted to be a foot higher than the evening tides. Flooding is still predicted to be in the minor category which is pretty much the same as this morning. The rain has changed over to snow when the temperature dropped even with the predictions of 1 to 3 inches it doesn’t appear that we will get much more than a dusting.  Follow the tide height live at the North Wildwood Weather Station online at http://173.15.136.29/datawise/dashboards/wx.php.
